“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” -John 16:33 (KJV)
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” -2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
HAPPY NEW YEAR! I know that I can say last year was a hard one. Quite a few life changes, lost a few friends, and my freedom (though only momentarily). Reflecting on last year makes me realize I need to keep, maintain, and grow my relationship with my Lord and Savior. It is that relationship (at times it was the ONLY relationship) that I rely on to keep me grounded and focused on what is important, both in this life and the next. I know my Lord well enough to know he wants the new 2016 version of me, not the played out 2015 version. That’s so last year! And my Lord deserves the best version of me (and you!) there is.
I wish everyone a Happy New Year and may God’s favor surround you and your loved ones. Here’s to not only a year, but more importantly a new day!

#Throw Back Thursdays
This tbt we go back to the Dogg Pound Days with a song from the man who is most known for singing the hooks on classics from rappers like 50 Cent, Eminem, Ludacris, and many more. How many of you remember this one “Never Leave Me Alone” from the late Nate Dogg?
The next throwback is from another legend featuring “what ever happened to her?” I mean Lil’ Kim. It’s hard to remember there was a time when she was the top selling female artist in rap! Kim spits fire on this track with the late great Biggie who not only killed it lyrically but (along with Lil’ Kim) also sings the hook! Another
